Manawatu Community Choir & IPU NZ Papuan Singing group

Tuesday 20 March – 4.00pm to 5.30pm at Youth Space on George Street

The Manawatu Community Choir provides all people with an opportunity to sing together and celebrate the warmth and vitality generated through music making. Founded & led by Jennifer Moss 8 years ago, the choir is proud to be known as ‘the city’s choir’ and is always delighted to share their songs with the wider community. They will treat us with a repertoire of songs from around the world for the occasion.

We will also be privileged to listen to a group of IPU NZ students from West Papua, Indonesia performing some of their traditional songs.

(Wet weather venue: Events Central, Central Library. Please check back here or see the Festival of Cultures Facebook page for venue changes on the day.)
